Selected Essay Of UPPM 3

Hello guys,

I do have here an essay written by one of our students during the UPPM3. She is Afifah Fatini Bt Sulaiman from 6A1. Her essay deserves 14/15 marks. I am publishing it here so that each and everyone of you can read hers. Maybe her essay is not as good as others from other schools, but I believe for at least she has tried her utmost best to present a mature essay.

PAPER II QUESTION 3, UPPM 3
Helping A Fire Victim
Ain is a kind and helpful girl who often helps the needy. She would always ask for permission from her parents everytime she wants to help a person.
It so happened on one sunny afternoon when Ain was walking home with her family after visiting her grandparents. There saw a house was on fire. At the drop of a hat, Ain's father rushed into the house to rescue the people. As bad luck would have it, he only managed to rescue a girl. They then brought the girl home as the girl was crying bitterly. Ain's father called the fire brigade to help put out the fire.
At home, Ain suggested to her father that they should help the unfortunate girl and her family. The family made a consensus to help the poor girl.
The next day, Ain and her sister collected money and old used clothes from their neighbours. They went from house to house to collect them. They managed to collect plenty of used clothes.
Then, both of them walked home. They gave the items to their mother who then gave them to the poor girl. The girl who was down in the dumps was very happy to be given with the donations. Ain and her family were praised by the girl.
Ain was on cloud nine after helping the girl. The girl owed a debt of gratitude for Ain's good deed. Ain promised to help other people who are in trouble in the future. Her parents were also proud of her, as proud as a peacock to have a committed daughter who loves to help people.

To Be Or Not To Be ....

Salams and hi to all - my students of SK Taman Pasir Putih and those who ardently follow my blog.

Good day to you all. It's nice to have you all as my students, as my colleagues and as my friends despite me still having a small number of "oppositions".

Well, whoever we are, we have responsibilities. We are accountable to our respective duties and tasks. We should be commited to the delegated assignments. It doesn't matter at all from whom do we get the job. It's not important at all how do we get the task. What counts much is how do we accomplish the job. What really matters is do we meet to the standard.

Many regard jobs as a burden when they actually forget that they are being paid for them. They live with excuses and skeptical reasons. They start avoiding extra jobs because they think it's a waste. Oh really? And at the same time, they shouldn't forget that there are times when they still get "extras" without doing anything. So? So each and everyone of us should be thankful coz we have what we want, we have what we wish, we have what we desire though we can't expect to get every single thing in life since Allah is just.

Ask ourselves who do we want to be? A mediocre person who gives the basic and gets the basic? Or to be somebody who wants to get more by giving more? Or to be someone who gives more but wouldn't mind to be given less?

Very well, for now I have a composition to share.

Q2B : You plan to have an activity during the school holidays. Which activity would you choose? Give reasons.

Collecting Seashells

I would choose collecting seashells because I think this particular activity would probably be the best and suitable activity for me and perhaps for my friends during the school holidays. Radish murex, venus comb and checkered bonnet are just few examples of exotic seashells that I have always want to keep for my personal collection.

Eversince I was small, I have always wanted to go to any beach to collect seashells. While there is a beach not far from my home, my father can possibly take me and my friends there in his car. I too have the necessary equiments like the trowel and container so I assume this is going to be an advantage as I don't need to get new ones.

Last but not least, my friends and I can share ideas on how to turn these seashells into decorative items which later can be sold to those who are interested or perhaps being given to someone we like as a meaningful token.

As my final word, I see no reason at all why I should not choose this activity. I believe I can have great excitement and enjoyment with my friends when we start to collect seashells at the beach during the school holidays.

Be The Best, Beat The Rest ...

Hi there,

Really hope ya all are still alive and kicking. Energetic and cheerful. What else, uh? Despite UPSR is coming nearer and nearer, we shouldn't be down in the dumps, should we? Well... let us sustain our efforts so that we achieve our dreams and goals. After all, getting the best in UPSR is our goals, rite?

So, I have here another piece for sharing purposes. Hope you could benefit it.

TWO MISCHIEVOUS BOYS

Both Rama and Choon Seng have always been so mischievous during lessons lately. They think that their final year examination is still far away. For that very reason, they are not worried at all about their exam preparations.

It so happened last Monday when as usual they sat next to each other at the back of the class. As a matter of fact, the back seats were their choice as any teacher would not notice them should they play the fool or misbehave. Coincidentally, it was the Geography class. They seemed to be bored with the lesson. The teacher looked commited wtih the teaching but they just did not bother about her. Instead, they did not pay any attention at all.

Whilst the teacher was sketching a map on the board, they started to fight with each other. Initially, it was just kind of fooling around. However, the fight turned to be serious when both of them started to use pencils as swords. As bad luck would have it, Rama accidentally poked Choon Seng's arm and his arm started to bleed. Choon Seng cried bitterly in pain.

Their teacher turned around and saw the incident. She, at the drop of a hat, took the two boys to the headmaster's office. After a short interrogation by the headmaster, the two boys were punished with a cane. Rama and Choon Seng were ashamed of themselves.

After the incident, both of them felt regretful for what they had done. They promised to be better than before. They wanted to sit in front and behave like other good students.
